“Be Thou my battle Shield, Sword for the fight;

This is an old Irish hymn that I absolutely love. My mom sings it all the time and it has been her life hymn. Let God be your strong tower and shield against the battles of the day. He is so strong! Remember that as you sing this verse today…

“Riches I heed not nor man’s empty praise
Thou mine inheritance now and always
Thou and thou only first in my heart
High King of heaven my treasure Thou are”

What makes you happy? Think about it. Is it new things? Is it your family? Is it your house? Relationships? Money?
Regardless of your answer God is jealous for you and your happiness. Our true source of joy should come from Him and His righteousness and glory!
